Dr Arshad Ali, Director Higher Education Commission, emphasized the importance of teachers training. He said keeping in view the introduction of new technology and changing behaviors and pattern of learning of children, teachers should review methods of learning and bring innovations in their teaching techniques.

He said that for the quality education, it was necessary to give training to the teachers to meet the challenges faced at school and university level and students would get the education in a better way.

FJWU Vice chancellor Prof Dr Samina Amin Qadir said that the university had always endeavored to promote healthy debate on pertinent issues.

She said under new methods, teachers would understand the requirement of the students and can impart the education in a better way.

She said there was a need to improve the capacity of the teachers so that they could understand the modern ways instead to give education from text books only.
