KARACHI, Aug 2: Three bodies were found from different areas of the metropolis on Saturday.

The bullet-riddled body of a man was found in Liaquatabad on Saturday. Residents of Liaquatabad No-6 informed police that a badly injured man was thrown out of a speeding car. The police reached the spot and shifted the body to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival. The victim was identified as Syed Mateen Shah, 27.

In another incident, the partially decomposed body of a man was found in an isolated area on Mai Kolachi Road in Jackson police limits. Police suspect that the man was killed some three days back. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for autopsy. No clue to the killers or the motive behind the murder could be ascertained immediately.

The body of an unidentified man, in his early 40s, was found from a pond, developed after rains, in Surjani Town.

Police retrieved the body and shifted it to a hospital for autopsy, where its identity could not be established. The body was immediately buried, as it was badly decomposed and could not be stored in a morgue.

ACCIDENTS: Four men died in different accidents in the metropolis on Saturday.

Naveed Mukhtar was severely injured, when his motorcycle skidded in North Nazimabad. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Another motorcyclist was killed, as an unidentified vehicle hit him in Tipu Sultan police limits. The body was shifted to JPMC for autopsy. The identity of the deceased could not be ascertained till filing of this report.

Abdul Majeed, in his mid 30s, was crushed under the wheels of a train in Quaidabad. Police suspected that the man would have been crossing the railway tracks, when he was hit by a train. The body was shifted to JPMC for autopsy.

In Drigh Colony, Nazeer alias Najji was killed after being hit by a train, while he was crossing the railway tracks.

ELECTROCUTED: Abdul Waheed, 22, got electrocuted at a milk shop in North Karachi. Police said that he was an employee at the milk shop in Sector 11-C of North Karachi.

He accidentally caught a live wire and received a severe electric shock. The body was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
