Position-holders awarded medals

GUJRANWALA, Aug 1: The government has earmarked Rs40 million in the budget for providing scholarships, uniform and books to the deserving students, according to Provincial Education Minister Mian Imran Masood.

Speaking at a ceremony arranged to award medals and cash to the intermediate examination position holders at the Education Board Complex on Friday, he pledged that the government would encourage the educational institutes to improve their performance. — Correspondent
