Khar in the PTI

Published April 29, 2017

GHULAM Mustafa Khar has joined the PTI. It is surprising that Imran Khan took him in his party, knowing his past.

He is the same person who, during the days of the late Ziaul Haq, while on a temporary political asylum in India, said: “We shall come to Pakistan on Indian tanks”. In other words, he hoped and expected to enter Pakistan along with Indian tanks.

Come what may, a patriot and a trusted companion of Bhutto should have preferred the gallows, along with Bhutto, or should have remained in jail rather than wish to enter Pakistan along with the enemy army on its tanks. He should have been tried under Article 6 for saying this.
