Defence library

THE Defence Central Library, which is owned and managed by the Defence Housing Authority Karachi, is well-equipped and maintained. It is also appreciable that from time to time, it allows non-residents to utilise its services.

However, there is a minor discomfort in the library’s functioning that the authorities need to address as early as possible. The newspaper section lacks adequate air-conditioning. Since summer is already upon us and mercury has shot up in recent days, sitting in this section is unbearable.

The authorities concerned are requested to look into the matter.
