TAXILA: Two persons were killed in separate road accident in Hassanbdal and Pindigheab police areas on Monday.

In first incident, a speeding dumper hit a rickshaw on G.T. Road in Hassanabdal police area on Monday, killing him its driver on the spot.

Talking to newsmen, his family alleged that his body was lying on the road for more than one hour as no rescue personnel turned up to shift the body to a nearby hospital.

In the second incident, a motorcyclist died when he was hit by a car near village Saghare in the Pindigheab police area. Hafiz Muhammad Iqbal was going on his motor bike.

While negotiating a sharp turn near Saghare, a speeding car hit him from the rear. He was rushed to THQ Hospital Pindigheb.

He was being taken to DHQ hospital Rawalpindi due to his critical condition but he died on way to hospital.
