She has given a statement criticising the media for giving undue attention to the Raees star. She reasons: any Pakistani actress, including herself, who had an opportunity to work opposite the king of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) would have been just as successful as Mahira K.
You’re being modest, Meera dear. Had you worked with SRK, his stardom would’ve touched new, nay newer, heights.
