QUETTA: A large number of students of different organisations and members of civil society condemned on Saturday the killing of Mashal Khan, a student of Abdul Wali Khan University, Mardan, and demanded immediate arrest of all involved in the brutal murder.

They took out a rally and after marching on various roads and streets of the provincial capital staged a protest demonstration in front of the Quetta Press Club.

The participants denounced the killing and termed it “a tragic and barbarian act”. They said that in the name of religion, the killing of people was not justified and it was also against Pakhtun traditions.

They demanded that the government take strict action against all those involved in the murder.
