KARACHI: The Pakistan Rangers, Sindh, on Friday claimed to have recovered a huge cache of weapons and ammunition from a shop in Nishtar Road area.
According to the paramilitary force’s spokesperson, the weapons, which had been concealed in the shop by the “facilitators” of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-London (MQM-L), included four rifles, two 22-bore rifles, six SMGs, seven 8mm rifles, one 12-bore single barrel, three pistols, five revolvers, seven 32-bore revolvers, five crackers and 2,116 rounds of different types.
An official said the weapons were meant to be used for targeted killings.
