UPPER DIR: Jamaat-i-Islami central chief Sirajul Haq has said that secret agencies of other countries including CIA, RAW and KGB are involved in terrorism and insurgency in Pakistan.

Addressing a meeting of JI workers in Dir Stadium here on Thursday, he said that Supreme Court of Pakistan should immediately announce decision in Panama Leaks scandal.

JI provincial chief Mushtaq Ahmad Khan, MNA Sahibzada Triqullah and Provincial Senior Minister Inayatullah Khan were also present on this occasion.

Sirajul Haq said that 6,000 to 7,000 corrupt people should be dealt with iron hand to protect the country. He said that court verdict in Panama case was reserved. He said that nation was waiting for the verdict in that historic case of ‘mega corruption’.

Mr Siraj said that suicide attacks were being carried out in Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta and other cities to destabilise the country. “CIA, RAW and KGB are directly involved in acts of terrorism and insurgency in Pakistan,” he alleged.

The JI chief said that central government should give its due right to Malakand division in China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. He said that the route passing through the region should be considered an alternate route of CPEC. He said that they would launch a protest if central government deprived Malakand division of the benefits of CPEC.

Mr Siraj said that restoration of peace in Pakistan was impossible as long as NATO forces were present in Afghanistan. He said that their straggle for providing easy and speedy justice to common people would continue.

The JI chief alleged that prime minister was trying to make Pakistan a ‘secular and liberal’ country. However, he said, the people of the country would not allow him to do so. “Pakistan will be made a real Islamic state,” he claimed.
