LAHORE: The Dawn Media Group is set to organise the sixth Dawn Pakistan Food & Agri Expo in Lahore on April 4 and 5 at the Expo Center, Johar Town.

The two-day event is supported by the Punjab government. The highlight of the event would be the one-day conference on the first day of the exhibition titled “Greening the value chain: agriculture, economy and food systems.”

The exhibition as well as the conference will be inaugurated by Minister for Agriculture Mr Naeem Akhtar Khan Bhabha.

This year, the expo will once again bring together key domestic and international players like farmers, land owners, agricultural investors, government officials, agents, distributors and exporters, on a single platform to explore new technologies and innovations in the food and agriculture sector. It will also provide the food and agriculture sector the drive it needs in the form of exposure to new technology, machinery, food technology and general improvement in farming methods.

The exhibition will be open from 11am to 7pm on April 4 and 5 and entry to the event is free.
