LAHORE: Former president Asif Ali Zardari said the PPP would make new political alignment after the decision on Panamagate.

Talking to former deputy speaker KP Ikram Shahid who called on him at Bilawal House here on Tuesday, Zardari said the PPP was waiting for the Panama scandal verdict and it would make political strategy after that.

He said Lahore would be centre of party’s political activities after April 4. He said the PPP opponents would get a befitting reply from jialas.

Ikram Shahid announced his joining the PPP.
