LAHORE: Candyland’s Hidayatullah and Adil Akram and Brighto Paints’ Hasan Mahmood have been suspended for one year each for violating the rules of the ongoing Patron’s Trophy Grade-II Cricket Tournament.

All three appeared for different teams in the domestic event six months back but now they violated the rules by playing for other teams. The Candyland and Brighto Paints have also been fined Rs50, 000 each for violating the rules.

Hidayatullah and Adil were suspended when KPT and Haideri Traders lodged their protest against Candyland with the Pakistan Railways registering protest against Brighto Paints.

With the PCB upholding their protests, the three teams KPT, Haideri Traders and Pakistan Railways earned nine points each from their matches played against Candyland and Brighto.
