Noor Bukhari's husband requests fans to 'respect her' during their divorce proceedings

In a polite Facebook post, Wali Hamid asked all not to judge or shame the actor
Updated 10 Apr, 2017

After Pakistani actor Noor Bukhari publicly announced her decision to divorce her singer/actor husband Wali Hamid, the latter has taken to social media to share his thoughts on the matter.

Countering the finality of Noor's post with a more hopeful strain in his message, the singer asks for privacy and requests followers to refrain from badmouthing his wife.

The singer wrote on his Facebook page: "A heartiest humble request to all ‘'Please refrain from commenting negative about Noor, I found my soulmate in her, we had the bestest times of our life together and I still love her, respect her and always will and never want to part ways."

He asked people to "respect our personal feelings and pray for us." as it's a "personal matter and let us handle personally."

Name-calling and blaming women are common phenomena upon the occurrence of a divorce, and it's refreshing to see Wali stand up for Noor even at this difficult stage in their relationship.

When it comes to setting more standards to others, we adopt we strict criterion, but when we seldom apply the same to our own situations. Hypocrites to the core; we are such a race. We poke our noses into others family and personal affairs and try to convince them to be following those high moral standards. We put aside the same criterion when it comes to electing of our rulers!

Better statement from a wise person but his Ex. made their personal issue "PUBLIC" by herself by announcing it on social media. Every post in social media comes with "Like", "Comment" and "Share" fields and one cannot stop people to express their feelings. Personal matters should remain away from social media.

Noor is within her rights to who she marry and divorce. Instead of living a miserable life, one should get out and choose whoever one like.

They marry then they are separated and again they marry but ask me and others to respect their privacy but how when they repeat and repeat and get the news flashed in media thus what talk of privacy they are demanding is at least not understood by me. If they were ashamed on separation then they had gone in hiding but instead they proudly announce in media which at least I regret if not you.
