KARACHI: A field of nine horses will battle it out for the Pakistan Day Cup when the Gymkhana race meeting takes place at the Karachi Racecourse on Sunday.

The cup race, which is third in day’s order, will be contested in the combined top scale order I and II over five furlongs.

Meanwhile, a four-race card has been drawn for the day.

Altogether, 33 horses have entered the day’s races barring last minute withdrawal.

The first race will go over four-and-a-half furlongs while the remaining three will be run over five furlongs.

The first race starts at 2.30pm
