London attack

Published March 25, 2017

I AM a practising Muslim. I know my religion teaches peace. Muslims want to defeat terrorism more than any other nation, and this is why millions of Muslims, particularly youth, are taking a stand against the so-called Islamic State.

At the same time more than 120 ulema — Muslim scholars — from around the world have denounced these terrorists as being nothing more than criminals who have nothing to do with Islam.

Muslims are being killed brutally by the IS for opposing it.

The terrorist attack in London has grieved all Muslims and left them sad at heart. A good Muslim will never condone an act of hate. We pray for those who lost their lives in this incident and their families.
