KARACHI: A sparkling century from Azhar Khan and a good all-round performance by Mohammad Aarish Khan inspired Mustafa Enterprises to a tense10-run win against Sara Solar Pvt Limited in their KCCA Inter-departmental Cricket League fixture at the RLCA Gulberg Ground here on Thursday.

Azhar hit 106 with the aid of the 12 boundaries and two sixes as Mustafa Enterprises collected 287 all out in 44.3 overs. Aarish made 31.

Sara Solar Pvt Limited, in reply, made a gallant attempt to reach a stiff 288-run target but were dismissed for 277 in the 45th over with Mohammad Faizan contributing a brilliant 64 that included four huge sixes and five fours.

Slow left-armer Aarish picked up five wickets for 55 runs.

Meanwhile, leg-spinner Hasan Shahab grabbed five for 27 as Shahab & Company annihilated Pakistan Lovers Organisation by 211 runs at the Annu Bhai Park.
