LAKKI MARWAT: A boy was wounded when a toy bomb exploded in Paharkhel Thall village near Lakki city on Thursday.

An official source told this scribe that a bomb went off with a bang when Waqar, 12, mistook it for a toy and kicked it.

The explosion panicked the villagers as it was heard in the locality.

Waqar received injuries on one his feet and was taken to the Government City Hospital.

After initial medical treatment, he was shifted to Peshawar.

A big contingent of police reached the site and bomb disposal squad was also called to ascertain the nature of the blast.
