LONDON: Pakistan Test cricketer Mohammad Amir has denied that he was briefly detained by immigration authorities at the Heathrow Airport here on Thursday.

According to reports, the Test cricketer was allowed to leave after half an hour of interrogation by the officials concerned.

The Test cricketer arrived at London Airport with his wife from Dubai.

However, in a tweet, Amir rejected the media reports by calling it, ‘All false’.

The left-arm fast bowler was banned in 2010 along with Mohammad Asif and Salman Butt for the infamous spot-fixing scandal in England.
