HYDERABAD, Dec 26: Federal Industries and Production Minister Liaquat Ali Jatoi has stressed the need for producing skilled and trained manpower so that the country can rapidly move on the road to progress and prosperity.

He said hat they had to respond to the challenges of time and keep pace with the rapidly changing world of today.

He was speaking as chief guest at the 42nd parents day function of Cadet College, Petaro, near here on Thursday.

Mr Jatoi announced a cash award of Rs50,000 for the college band.

Earlier, the minister inspected guard of honour and took salute at the march past of the cadets.
