LAHORE: Three teenagers including two brothers were killed when a tractor-trolley hit their motorcycle in Baghbanpura on Wednesday.

Police said Abdullah, 10, his elder brother Ahmad, 13, and cousin Tahir, 19, were going somewhere by a motorcycle when a tractor-trolley hit them near Daroghawala. They suffered critical injuries and were taken to the Mayo Hospital, where they breathed their last.

The tractor-trolley driver fled the scene before area people and relatives of the victims reached the spot and lodged a protest against the traffic authorities for allowing the vehicle on the busy roads of the city. They placed the bodies on the road and demanded arrest of the driver.

Police officials reached the spot and assured the protesters that they would arrest the driver.

They later shifted the bodies to morgue for autopsy and impounded the vehicle and registered a case.
