Three arrested

MANSEHRA, Dec 20: Police on Friday arrested three persons for allegedly killing a shopkeeper at Khaki in the Lower Pakhal area of Mansehra district.

Two of the detainees are relatives of MPA Maulvi Asmatullah from Kohistan district. According to the police, they stabbed to death Mohammad Riaz over a minor dispute on Dec 7.

The murder had sparked public protests in the area.

The arrested include Sarfraz and Taj, nephews of Maulvi Asmatullah, and Omar Khan, son of Malik Mumtaz.
