PESHAWAR: The Peshawar district administration on Wednesday announced a public holiday in the provincial capital on Friday (Dec 16) to commemorate the second anniversary of the massacre at the Army Public School here.

In a notification, Deputy Commissioner, Peshawar, Riaz Mehsud said all the public and private schools, colleges and universities in the provincial capital would remain closed to observe the death anniversary of the students and teachers massacred by Taliban militants on December 16, 2014.
