BADIN, Dec 18: Activists of the Musharraf Himayat Tehrik were pelted with eggs and tomatoes by town residents here on Wednesday.

They had gathered at the Shahnawaz Chowk to stage a rally against the attack on the life of the president and in favour of the Kalabagh dam construction.

The activists came under the attack by the nationalists and area residents when they started raising slogans in support of the dam construction. The demonstrators, led by the Tehrik leader Mumtaz Ahmad Sabzposh, were, however, rescued by the police.
