At least 15 members of a family were injured when a two-storey house in Lahore collapsed as an explosive went off in the building on Wednesday, police said. Eight hand grenades were recovered from the house.

One person remains trapped under rubble. The injured were taken to Mayo Hospital.

The house located in Lahore's inner-city Mochi Gate area belongs to Imran Mashhadi, who lives there with his five brothers and their families.

Deputy Inspector General (Operations) Dr Haider Ashraf said that nobody has been taken into custody yet.
