ST refund rules

KARACHI, Dec 11: The Member Sales Tax, (CBR), Shahid Ahmed, on Thursday said that new sales tax refund rules were under preparation and would be announced soon to give maximum relief to exporters.

In a meeting with a delegation of Pakistan Hosiery Manufacturers Association (PHMA) held in the Sales Tax House, the member assured that all issues related to sales tax refund would be resolved.

Chairman PHMA sales tax committee Saleem Parekh who headed the delegation apprised the member sales tax about the problems with regard section 73, quality of audit, DTRE rules, listing and delisting of suspected units and STARR related difficulties.
