WASHINGTON, Dec 9: The United States said on Tuesday it does not intend to swap Iranian rebels with Iran in return for Al Qaeda members.
“The United States is not engaged in discussions regarding a swap of Mujahedin-e-Khalq members held by US forces in Iraq, in return for Al Qaeda members held in Iran,” State Department spokesman Richard Boucher told a briefing.
