KARACHI: Computer Science Admissions

KARACHI, Dec 7: Chairman, Computer Science department, University of Karachi, Prof Dr Nasir Touheed on Sunday announced that all those candidates who have applied for the admission to BS (CS/SE) programme and have final percentage above 33.00 are eligible for admissions on donor seats in the evening programme.

These candidates have been directed to get the Donor Seats Request Form and a fee collection voucher from the department on Dec 10. These forms, along with a stamped copy of fee collection voucher, showing that a fee of Rs300 has been deposited in the UBL’s varsity branch, be submitted in the department on Dec 10 and 11.

The list of the eligible candidates will be displayed at the department notice board.

EXAM POSTPONED: Science faculty dean Dr Syed Iqbal Mohsin announced that the BSc (Honour) terminal examination, second year, Pakistan Studies (Comp) paper, which was scheduled to be held on Dec 11, would now be held on Tuesday, Dec 16.

ANNOUNCEMENT: Chairman, Computer Science department announced that all those candidates of merit lists No-1 and 2, who were given admissions to BS (SE) programme had been transferred to BS (CS) evening programme.

However, if a student wanted to remain in the BS (SE) programme, he or she must contact the department immediately, he added.
