KARACHI: Chinese delegation due today

KARACHI, Dec 1: A five-member delegation of Chinese writers is scheduled to visit Pakistan from Tuesday under a cultural exchange programme, says a press release.

The press release states that the Pakistan Academy of Letters, ministry of education, will be the host on behalf of the government of Pakistan.

“The delegation will arrive at Quaid-i-Azam International Airport on Tuesday and will leave for Lahore on Wednesday. The delegation is scheduled to visit Quaid’s mausoleum and the office of Anjuman-i-Taraqui-i-Urdu. It will also call on the governor at the Governor House.”

It says a reception is being held by the resident director of the Pakistan Academy of Letters, Karachi, a lunch by the provincial department of culture, and a dinner by the Karachi Nazim.
