KARACHI, Nov 29: The Pakistan Muslim League (PML-Q), Sindh organised a three-day Eid Millan programme for party workers at the PML House.

A large number of PML activists from different areas of the province participated in the event, said convener of the PML organizing committee for Sindh, Senator Nisar A. Memon, here on Saturday.

PML leaders exchanged Eid greetings and distributed sweets among the workers. “This is for the first time that PML leadership has arranged such a programme,” he said.

Mr Memon called upon the workers to unite themselves for protecting interests of the country and strengthening democracy, and generate maximum support for their party.

He said the organising committee enjoyed the support of the central leadership and would be working for strengthening the party until a new team was formally picked up.

“Chaudhry Sahib is very happy with working of the committee,” he said.

Media coordinator of the committee, Khanzada Emran H. Khan, on the occasion, said PML president Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain was scheduled to arrive at Lahore from London on the night between Monday and Tuesday.

He said things would settle down with arrival of the party chief. — APP
