Body of young man found

SUKKUR, Nov 25: The body of a young man was recovered from Nareja village near Ahmedpur, Khairpur district on Tuesday.

When the villagers went to their agricultural land, they found the body of Sarwar Suprio, son of Allah Rakhio.

He had been axed to death as many wounds of hatchet were found on his body.

His father told the police that Sarwar went to Khairpur four days ago but did not return.

He said that they had no enmity with anybody.

The Ahmedpur police have registered a case.

KILLED: A man was killed after being hit by a train near Airport Road here on Monday.

As Hafiz Kifayatullah, son of Sawan Faqir Buriro, resident of Mehar, was crossing railway tracks, he was hit by a train.

As a result, he was seriously injured and shifted to a local hospital where he died.

His body was sent to Mehar.

Hafiz Kifayatullah had come to Sukkur to teach in a madressa.
