KARACHI, Nov 21: The general post office and head post office will remain open on Nov 23, Pakistan Post Office announced on Friday.

According to the PMG Sindh, complete arrangements have been made for immediate delivery of Eid cards for which additional staff has been deployed in every section so that letters and Eid cards could reach the consignees at home and abroad in time.

Meanwhile, the PMG Sindh Mohammad Ahmed Mian has expressed satisfaction over the prompt clearance of the huge Eid mail load.

He was speaking at an Iftar hosted for the office-bearers of the Philatelic Federation of Pakistan.

The PMG urged the postal officers and staff to continue to perform with the same devotion.

He also called for fully preserving the sanctity and spirit of the Holy month of Ramazan.—APP
