ISLAMABAD, Nov 20: Pakistan on Thursday strongly condemned the deadly and horrendous terrorist attacks in Turkey in which there has been tragic loss of lives and hundreds have been injured.

“We are deeply shocked that the brotherly people and Government of Turkey had to face yet another gruesome tragedy in such a short time,” Foreign Office spokesman Masood Khan said while reacting to the attacks in Istanbul.

He said Pakistan also condoled with the British government over the death of British Counsel General in these terrorist attacks.

Mr Khan said these attacks revealed a sinister design and a consistent pattern by the terrorists to increasingly target Muslim countries.

He said that the Muslim countries in cooperation with international community should continue their fight against terrorism with greater vigilance and effectiveness. “Terrorists should not be allowed to win out.”—APP
