If only every month began with a Fawad Khan shoot.

He channels his Kapoor & Sons character Rahul on the May cover of Indian tabloid, Hi! Blitz, somehow managing to look cool and unruffled without a hair out of place.

The magazine dubs him 'The New Age Khan', suggesting he's poised to join - or supersede - Bollywood's Khan trio - Shah Rukh, Salman and Aamir.

We don't know his next move in Bollywood, so for Indian fans, shoots like this will have to suffice.

In Pakistan, Fawad has signed on to two films, Albela Rahi and Maula Jutt, so we'll be seeing plenty of him on this side of the border! We hope his shoots start real soon.

Must be thankful to Indian media that they are not showing any enmity towards Pakistani actors.

@Nitin I believe all this enmity is because of political community of both the countries. Otherwise, despite media's negative propaganda on political matters between the two countries, common people walking on the street are not interested in enmity. It's good to see that creative fraternity of both the countries is behaving rationally and has accepted the other's talent with open arms. Indian media understands the pulse of public so it is cashing in on it. In creative endeavors, hatred is not bought by the public. Hence we can say that Indian media is smart enough to understand this point.

He is really really handsome... A superstar material for sure, if not stuck in the dirty political game of India and Pakistan.

First he should give a solo hit (khoobsurat was flop),compete with Sushant,Ayushmann,Tiger,Arjun etc then thinks about three khan,Ranveer,Ranbir,Kumar etc . every one casting him as 2nd lead.clearly shows he dont have opening power.

@A Troll From Nowhere If you need to see how Indians and Pakistanis treat each other come to Dubai or anywhere in GCC. I have seen how they are with each other in London too. Growing up in Doha we never thought that this neighbour of ours is a Pakistani. 20 years later we are still great friends. You may have seen only one Fawad but we have seen many Pakistanis over so many years. We have had no issues ever.

@Safwan But unfortunately none of Fawad's bollywood movie did good business on box office. It is bitter but it is truth.

The fact that Pakistanis are not hostile towards him because he's working in India also shows that majority have no ill will towards India. Indian support is also heartening.

He is looking good, as always! Whether he supersedes the Khan trio, will have to wait & watch! But he would make it big in his own stead, so give him that credit ;). As for his future bollywood venture, 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' with Aishwarya Rai, Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Imran Abbas directed by Karan Johar..need I say more. He is in big league, so wishing him good luck in future.

He has to adopt Indian citizenship, if he wants Khan like stature. Even Adnan Sami realized it

Ahh I really wanna see fawad more in Bollywood no offense to Pakistan but their movies are not highly promoted as much as Indians and India a bigger industry for fawad to show his excellent talent

@JN He is not the main lead in Ae Dil hai mushkil. The main hero in that movie is Ranbir Kapoor who is about the same age as Fawad but is by far more successful. Fawad has a little more than a cameo role in that movie. He has to give a solo hit before being considered in big league. Arjun Kapoor, Ranvir, Siddharth Malhotra each has a solo 100 crore movie to their credit. Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sushant Singh Rajput have both been second leads in movies which crossed 150 crore (way more than Kapoor and Sons). Plus each of them also has solo hits to their credit.

@arka If you know what is acting then you know what kind of actor fawad khan is. Dont you? The real problem is acceptability. Which he (or any Pakistani) will never get in totality. Although he got unprecedented popularity in India. Which I appreciate. But he gets opposition from Indian populace just because he is Pakistani. There will always be a glass wall which he will never be able to cross.

@gp65 Correct. Fawad has a long way to go. I am surprised to read the caption of Indian magazine. Perhaps an stunt to sell more and more copies of magazine to the crazy Indian female following of Fawad Khan. Nobody in Pakistan wants him to replace Khan a feat very hard to achieve. And by the way these Khans have spent decade in getting this position.
