QUETTA: The Quetta Institute of Medical Sciences (QIMS) has reserved seats for the wards of law enforcement agencies’ personnel.

Addressing the first-year MBBS students, Deputy Surgeon General Maj Gen Asif Mamtaz Sukhera said five seats had been reserved for the children of personnel of the Frontier Corps, police, Levies and other law enforcement agencies.

“The QIMS is the first medical institute which has reserved seats for the children of personnel of law enforcement agencies,” he said.

QIMS Principal Prof Arbab Abdul Wadood highlighted the five-year performance of the institute.
