PML-N protest tomorrow

LAHORE, Nov 10: The PML-N will hold a protest rally in Sheikhupura on Wednesday against the arrest of its president Javed Hashmi.

Provincial information secretary Zaeem Qadri said in a statement here on Monday that the following day the party will hold similar programmes at Okara and Sahiwal.

The party would not rest in peace unless Mr Hashmi was set free, he said.

In a separate statement, vice-president Binyamin Rizvi demanded action against those responsible for the dismemberment of the country.

He said the defence minister would be doing a great national service by initiating the action.

About official claims that people were not interested in opposition’s agenda, Binyamin said that agitation to be launched after Eid would dent such illusions.
