KARACHI: Boy wounded

KARACHI, Nov 7: A four-year-old boy was shot and wounded when his father resisted two bandits in a robbery in Gulshan-i-Iqbal on Friday evening.

Police said ASI Ejaz Baloch had just reached the gate of his house in block-6 of Gulshan-i-Iqbal when two bandits, riding a motorcycle, attempted to snatch his motorcycle at gunpoint. In the meantime, his son Asad came out of the house.

ASI Ejaz put up strong resistance to the bandits, who in turn, opened fire and fled. A bullet pierced through the abdomen of Asad and he was rushed to a hospital. — Staff Reporter
