KARACHI, Oct 27: The City District Government has decided to run 50 new CNG green buses by end of December from Surjani Town to Korangi.

These buses will ply on route number 19 and 4.

This was decided in a meeting presided by DCO Karachi Mir Hussain Ali in a meeting held here on Monday.

The meeting also formed sub-committees which include review, vigilance and finance committees. These committees will submit their reports from time to time to the urban transport management committee.

Participants of the meeting were informed that of the total 65 buses, 45 were ready while 20 will be ready by end of December.

The meeting also reviewed measures to set up terminals for these CNG buses at various areas of the city. — APP
