MUET interviews from 30th

HYDERABAD, Oct 25: The Mehran University of Engineering and Technology on Saturday notified the schedule of interviews of eligible candidates, including regular, quota and self-finance schemes, seeking admission to the first year for 2003-04 session.

According to the schedule, interviews of candidates of Hyderabad district would be held on Oct 30 from 9am, for Dadu and Thatta districts on Oct 31 from 9am to 11am, for Badin and Mirpurkhas districts on Nov 1 from 9am to 11am, for Sanghar, Tharparkar and Nawabshah districts on Nov 3 from 9am to 12 noon, for Naushahro Feroze, Sukkur, Ghotki and Khairpur districts on Nov 4 from 9am to 12 noon, for Larkana, Shikarpur and Jacobabad districts and Karachi Division on Nov 5 from 9am to 1pm.

All eligible candidates have been advised to appear before the admissions committee in the office of the registrar for interviews with their original documents on the dates and times mentioned above.

The candidates who fail to appear before the admissions committee for interviews on the prescribed dates will not be considered for admission. Candidates have been advised to contact on telephone number 0221-771704 for further information.

EXAMS: The Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro, has announced that for all eligible students that regular practical examinations of 8th term of 2000-batch, 6th term of 2001-batch, 4th term of 2002-batch and 2nd term of 2003- batch of bachelor of city and regional planning and bachelor of architecture, under external system will be held from Nov 15 at 10am on all working days and theory examinations will be held from Dec 1 at 9am, at the Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro.

Last date for submission of examination forms with normal fee has been fixed as Nov 10, and with late fee as Nov 12. The students of above batches have been advised to submit their examination forms within due date and contact the controller of examinations MUET for further information.

SPSC: The controller of examinations, Sindh Public Service Commission on Friday announced the result of pre-interview written test held on Oct 7, for the post of deputy district attorney (BPS-17) in law department, government of Sindh.

The controller also announced the result of typing and shorthand test held on Oct 6, for the posts of stenographers (BPS-12) in services and general administration department, Government of Sindh.
