DERA MURAD JAMALI: A prayer leader was killed and another man was injured when unidentified attackers opened fire on them in a mosque in Goth Babar area of Jhal Magsi district on Monday night.

Levies officials said Molvi Najeebullah Lashari suffered multiple wounds and died on the spot.

The injured, whose name could not be known, was taken to hospital.

Levies officials have registered a case.

Meanwhile, a man was shot dead in Bhent village of Sunni area in Kachhi district.

Sources said that one Salahuddin allegedly opened fire on Safar Khan Raheja, killing him on the spot.

Levies personnel shifted the body to the district hospital and handed it over to heirs after legal formalities.

Both attacks are said to have been caused by old enmity.
