KARACHI: Encroachments removed

KARACHI Oct 14: City government and the town municipal administration of Gulshan-i-Iqbal, in a joint operation, demolished about 25 offices of goods transport companies and bus stands at the Old Sabzi Mandi.

Construction of Askari Park has been started at Old Sabzi Mandi, but encroachments emerged at the place that is part of the extension of the Park, hampering development work.

Development work will be started soon on this place and more encroachments will be removed in the next few days.—PPI
