ISLAMABAD, Oct 12: Miangul Akbar Zeb has been appointed High Commissioner to South Africa.
According to a press release, Mr Zeb joined the foreign service in 1979 and served as second and first secretary (political) in the Embassy of Pakistan, Washington D.C., from 1983-87.
He served as director in the ministry of foreign affairs, Africa, Afghanistan and foreign secretary’s office from 1988 to 1994. He also served as counsellor (political) and deputy high commissioner in New Delhi.—Our Reporter
