QUETTA, Oct 12: Former Balochistan governor Amirul Mulk Mengal has urged the writers and intellectual to play a creative role to unite the nation.

He also underlined the need of strong relations between the writers and readers for the promotion of literature and bringing a better change in the society.

He was speaking at a book launching ceremony of Waheed Zaheer’s “Barmala” on Sunday.

The former governor said that Balochistan’s writers were producing good literature against the injustices, imbalances, feudalism, negative aspects of tribalism and other important issues.

Mr Mengal lauded the efforts of Mr Zaheer saying that he introduced a new way of writing, and hoped that he would keep struggling for bringing a positive change in the society.
