KARACHI, Oct 12: The candidates who have applied for admission to the Medical Colleges of Karachi Centre (Dow Medical College & Sindh Medical College) and have submitted their application forms along with IBA entry test forms at Dow Medical College (DMC) Karachi have been asked to collect their admit cards for IBA entry test from DMC.

According to a press release issued by Prof. Illahi Bakhsh M. Soomro, Principal, DMC, the schedule is as follows:

Seat No. 0001- 1000......22nd October 2001.

Seat No. 1001- 2000......23rd October,2001.

Seat No. 2001—Onwards...24th October, 2001.

The Hafiz-i-Quran Test for admission to DMC & Sindh Medical College will be held at the office of principal & chairman selection board Karachi , administrative block, DMC, according to the following schedule:

seat No. 0001—1000—17th October.

seat No. 1001—2000—18th October.

seat No.2001—onwards-19th October.

The candidates who have applied for admission to the first year MBBS class, session 2001-2002, and have claimed 20 marks for Hafiz-i-Quran have been directed to appear before the selection board for test on the above dates.

Equivalence: The Sindh health department has decided to accept all A-level equivalence certificates from A-level certificates holding candidates, applying for admissions to medical colleges in Sindh.

According to a notification issued here on Friday, all the selection centres including Dow Medical College and Chandka Medical College Larkana and Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences, Jamshoro, shall remain open on Sunday, Oct 14 to receive admission forms for the academic session 2001-2001.— PPI
