KARACHI, Oct 1: The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Kaleem Saadat hosted Defence Day Dinner at PAF Museum to pay homage to the heroes of 1965 War.

All the retired officers of PAF living in Karachi were invited at the dinner on Tuesday night. Air Marshal (retd) Azim Daudpota was the chief guest. Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad, Chief Minister Ali Mohammed Mahar and other high ranking civil and military officials.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Kaleem paid rich tributes to the PAF heroes of 1965 war. “To preserve the freedom and the way of life, we are prepared to sacrifice all we have. We will continue to tread the trial of glory set ablaze by the ghazi and martyrs of 1965 war,” he said. —APP
