DERA GHAZI KHAN: The CCTV footage has solved the mystery of death of a guard at the gate of Sarwar Aali High School on Dera-Multan Road.

The camera footage showed that Abbas Bhatti left his gun on his table which a young student picked up. As the weapon went off, the guard was almost beheaded.

Law-enforcement agencies (LEAs) collected evidence including CCTV footage.

The student, Hamza Usman, confessed that when the guard was dealing with some person at the gate, he picked up his gun from the table and it went off.

Police have taken Hamza Usman, Zeeshan, Arqam and another student into custody for investigation.

Darahma police SHO Rana Iqbal said a case against unidentified assailant was registered on Monday night as the boys were not nominated.
