KARACHI: Bandit shot dead in Site

KARACHI, Sept 29: A bandit was shot dead by a security guard in Site late Sunday night.

Police said that three bandits entered an under construction factory located in Metroville, Farooq-i-Azam roundabout and started looting. The security guard challenged them triggering a cross fire, one of the suspects was injured while two others escaped.

The unidentified bandit died on the spot, his body was shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for post-mortem examination.

BURNS: A man suffered serious burn injuries in Siraj Colony of Nazimabad on Monday.

Hospital sources said that Pervaiz, 30, was brought from the limits of Rizvia police station to the Burns Ward of Civil Hospital. Doctors said that the victim had suffered 97 per cent burns.

STABBED: Two students of Urdu Science College, residing in Momin Square, were stabbed by unknown persons on Monday.

Police said that Manzar Ali and Kausar Ali were attacked with sharp-edged weapons by unidentified persons in the premises of Momin Square.

Both the injured were taken to Jinnah hospital for treatment. Later, an FIR was lodged against unknown persons in Gulshan-i- Iqbal police station.

BODIES FOUND: Three bodies were recovered from the sea on Monday.
