KARACHI: Transformer inaugurated

KARACHI, Sept 28: Sher Mohammad Baloch, an MNA, inaugurated a 250 KVA pole-mounted power transformer (PMT) at Ali Akbar Shah village, Korangi, on Sunday.

Speaking to the residents of the area on this occasion, Mr Baloch lauded the Karachi Electric Supply Corporation‘s efforts for initiating system improvement schemes in low-income areas.

The KESC had spent over Rs2.5 million for the installation of transformers in Korangi area alone, he informed and demanded such schemes for Ibrahim Hydri and adjoining villages.

Chief Engineer, Umer Khushk, assured the area residents that after completion of these schemes, problems of over loaded PMTs, power fluctuation and low voltage would be solved.—PPI
