GUJRANWALA, Sept 27: Ruling party leaders, including MNAs, MPAs, tehsil Nazims and federal parliamentarian secretary for information, on Saturday condemned the district Nazim for not providing funds for uplift projects.
They hinted at tabling a no-confidence motion against the district Nazim, as according to them, he was utilizing the funds only in his own constituency in Wazirabad tehsil.
This was stated by federal parliamentarian secretary for information Chaudhry Bilal and PML district president MNA Chaudhry Shahid Akram while talking to newsmen at the PML office.
They alleged that district Nazim Fiaz Ahmad Chattha, son of PML-J chief Chaudhry Hamid Nasir Chattha, had not been providing funds to opposition members for development schemes for the last two years. Similarly, they said that tehsil councils were also not given any funds during the period.
They further alleged that the district Nazim was interfering in recruitment and posting/transfer of government officials without lawful authority and misusing official vehicles.
