KARACHI, Sept 27: City Nazim Naimatullah Khan has said that Karachi will soon be developed into a modern city with high living standards, healthy surroundings and stimulating environment.

He was speaking as the chief guest at the ground breaking ceremony of Creek Vistas Project on Saturday.

The Nazim described the Creek project a spectacular residential scheme with special focus on quality construction standards and aesthetics. The beginning of its construction would give a tremendous boost to the economic activity resulting in numerous employment opportunities besides creating unprecedented investment opportunities.

He felicitated the DHA administration for planning a comprehensive housing project in a credible and transparent manner. He advised the DHA to undertake the construction of residential towers with utmost precision and a sense of accomplishment.

Mr Naimatullah said that the Creek project would develop culture of quality living, aesthetics, security and services in the city. This would result in heralding a new era of progress and prosperity in Karachi, he remarked.

Earlier, DHA administrator Brig Maqsood Hussain reiterated that the initiation of Creek project had changed the meaning and concept of recreational lifestyle in Pakistan.

He said that the Creek City was essentially an extension of the grand DHA Water Front Development Project that was envisioned and conceived by the President Executive Board and Commander 5- Crops Lt General Tariq Waseem Ghazi.

Giving details of the construction plan, Brig Maqsood informed the gathering that the six residential towers with all its ramifications and provision of essential civic facilities and amenities would be completed in two and a half years.

He said that Meinhardt International was the management consultant of the project, which would ensure the highest quality of construction standards.

He said that the DHA would undertake the project with a sacred trust and deliver the same in time. He said that the DHA would ensure that the synergy of cost, time and quality was never compromised during the construction of the residential towers. — PPI
